BTW risky stock, they don't have others marketed products.
I've been following this stock for a few years. They have completed the
largest phase III trial on Melanoma detection in history. The specificity
of this medical device (Melafind) has outperformed the dermatologists
in the study.
I think this device will become part of annual physicals for high risk
people. It will help reduce biopsies and and it will help detect melanoma
at an early stage, while it's still treatable.
I think it will eventually be used by family doctors in the less populated
areas of the country where there are fewer dermatologists.
It has international potential since other countries have a higher
incidence of melanoma than the U.S.
Currently trading at mid 9's. Decision is due by Dec. 31st 2009.

Does anyone know when FDA will approve this Melafind machine? I have checked with the FDA calender, I could not find any info.Pleae help.
Thanks in advance.
MELA is waiting for FDA approval of there melanoma detection device in late 2010.
If they get approval, this could be a rocket momo stock, and of course if no approval say hello to $1 and below.
There has been alot of pumping of this stock by just about everyone, including radio and tv people, so beware of this.
My best guess is the stock will get a ramp up into the FDA decision and then who know what happens, either god or bad. Probably a sell the news.
Good Luck on MELA
