Default Why has SVNT performed so differently than SPPI??

I started watching both of these companies about a month ago when they were both trading around $5 per share. SVNT went to $13 per share with an FDA decision date of August 1st and SPPI at the highest pre-FDA decision went to $7 per share. The two firms have similar financials and various ratings and news releases have come out saying that SPPI is undervalued compared to peers. Can someone explain this to me... I appear to be missing something rather significant.

svnt had a fda board review meeting and got a 14-1 vote positive..that is why the stock shot up BEFORE fda approval date...

SPPIs drugs are ALREADY fda approved....there just going for a label change(front line defense)
