Steadily moving up... recently obtained a $2.5 million milestone payment...Expected FDA decision on APF530 by March 18, 2010.
Everything here is solely my opinion… Every person should do their own Due Diligence. I do not claim facts here are accurate.
A.P. Pharma, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company, engages in developing pharmaceutical products using its proprietary Biochronomer polymer-based drug delivery technology. Its lead product candidate is APF530, which completed pivotal Phase III clinical trial for the prevention of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting.

Recent Insider Trading - 10/19/09 TANG KEVIN ( Director and Beneficial Owner of more than 10% of a Class of Security)Purchased 2.44 Mil shares at $0.88.
Enjoy the runup to the March PDUFA date.
They needed to show non-inferiority to Aloxi in the Phase 3, and did.
As a 505 b-2 filing, the odds of approval are much higher than for a new chemical entity.
PPS: $1.12
$4 wouldn't be surprising by March 2010.

A.P. Pharma Regains Compliance with Nasdaq Minimum Bid Price Rule
January 11, 2010 6:00 AM ET. Safe for now.
Got in last week.
Higher than normal voulme all week + upcoming FDA decision + low float + small short ratio + Price above 50- and 200-day moving averages + major institutional investors = good looking stock to me.
Looking into this stock too.
What kind of price entry are you guys hoping for on this stock this week.
I think the 1.40 and 1.50 range might be out of question.
APPA: AP Pharmaceuticals
I believe APPA is a good stock to own. Their cash position is strong and their chart is on the rise. Their LTA are higher than their STA.
Their injectable drug APF - 530 is way advantaged over ALexi.
APF-530 should be able to compete with Aloxi, not only on price, but for the clinical reason as well. Below is one good advantage
Aloxi you set up the IV line and give Aloxi 30 minutes prior to giving the chemo. But then the patient has to sit there occupying the chemo chair/room hooked up for 30 minutes .
With APF-530 on the other hand, they give the subcutaneous injection 30 minutes prior to the chemo, and then the patient could go back out in the waiting area.
like this as well, mgi had multi billion market cap with aloxi leader seller, still a month away from FDA, already hit $2.16 once, seems to have some decent support $1.80 or so, small float makes run ups fast
also approval likely
I've been looking at AP Pharma for quite some time now. I wish i would have rode this most recent rally from when it was under $1![]()
I wish I had joined the APPA ride a little earlier. But I have a good feeling this thing should continue to move in a positive direction.
