I think it was the end of May when they said 2 weeks. I think they have been running about 5 weeks late on some of these. So I am thinking a decision should be made next week. Who knows? its the fda.
It was back in late June but forgot the exact date on it. HEB said the delay is all on the FDA and they are awaiting a response.

Yeah I think your right.... guess we'll just wait it out
That's true. The delay has nothing to do with Hemispherx BioPharma they are waiting from the FDA just as we are. The FDA has issued several approvals this week for ANPI, Boston Scientific and BDSI, so maybe HEB is on top or very near the top of the FDA's list of things to do.
I'm hopin' its around the 23rd. See calendar
2009 Advisory Committee Tentative Meetings
This is an intersting take on the apparent development of a "cultural" change at FDA regarding getting "pain" meds to the public. (Don't get me started on the backward mentality of Rethugs vis-a-vis all things medical.) There's no addiction element to Ampligen, but the idea of getting a pain reliever for a condition that has nothing available on the market seems reasonable bet.
I'm wondering if the hold-up might be a question about the need for the creation of a patient assistance program (to track drug performance once it's out in the market) isn't also part of the delay.
Eye on FDA
After seeing a few biotechs file Chapter 11 the past few days (BPUR, OSCI...), is anyone else worried that HEB might be heading in that direction?
momentum seems to be dissipating as volume is decreasing...the wait for heb approval has turned heb into a great daytrading stock.
