ARCA biopharma (ABIO) has a PDUFA date of 5/31/09 for the Gencaro (bucindolol) NDA in the treatment of chronic heart failure, along with a related pending PMA by LabCorp (LH) for the associated genetic test for the drug

Originally ABIO was way up at $13.50+, but because their drug trials were deemed incomplete, the FDA required further trials to be conducted. The stock then dropped down to $5, and even further to the low 2s. But, Gencaro, itself, shows a lot of promise in lowering mortality in its trials. I think it's just a matter of time until the drug gets FDA approval and the stock shoots way up. Right now, just on pure speculation of release the stock has shot up almost 100% in 2 days.
