The Company Financial record for 2009 and 2010 isn't at all satisfactory

In its first period under a new ownership group, Ivax Diagnostics had a slightly larger loss and generated fewer sales.
The Miami-based in vitro diagnostics company (AMEX: IVD) had a net loss of $1.18 million, or 4 cents a share, on revenue of $4 million in the third quarter. In the same period last year, it lost $1.16 million, or 4 cents a share, on revenue of $4.6 million.
A reduction in operating expenses wasn’t enough to make up for the lost sales.
In September, German firm Erba Diagnostics Mannheim bought a controlling stake in Ivax Diagnostics and took over its management.
Ivax Diagnostics shares closed up 5 cents to 59 cents. The 52-week high was 80 cents on April 13. The 52-week low was 41 cents on Jan. 4.
