Do you know what the predicted stock price will be?
no problem!
also, keep in mind there is a conference call august 11, we should hear some news about ereska by then.. (hopefully)
Do you know what the predicted stock price will be?
I think we could hit possibly hit 4-6, if not higher... I feel this way because lately it just seems about every bio stock that has announced positive clinical trial data, has doubled or tripled in the price. I know I am speculating a bit, but Ereska really has a 3 good drugs in their pipeline, and good data from Ereska would be the icing on the cake. So good Ereska data could be a sign of good things to come.
Also, Wedbush Morgan gave Javelin a 6 buck price target in March. See the link below for analyst recommendations
JAV
great article, thanks!
this stock is probably my easiest to trade, just wish it had better liquidity.. still cant understand the lack of interest. maybe it'll be a VNDA surpriser...
heres to hoping!
Javelin Pharmaceuticals Reports Ereska (Intranasal Ketamine) Phase III Trial Results in Postoperative Orthopedic Pain
Is that good or bad? What it looks like is that the drug works but not as much as expected.
Just missed P value. Needed, .05 or lower. Came in at .053. They are going to review the study. May or may not change. Looking to buy under $1.40/$1.50. FDA will review the results in any event.
I just loaded up some more today to DCA my holdings, once people realize that the desired P value of 0.05 is not that different from 0.053 once the patient sample are stratified, the results will be just fine. Good luck to all.
Woah did my overconfidence ever slap me in the face!
Hope what you are saying about the p value perception is true! Perhaps they were investigating why it was so high, thus causing a delay?
53 in a 1000 chance vs 50 in a thousand chance results are not due to drug may not seem like much of a difference, but with even just 3 chance occurrences off, drug trials usually MUCH lower than that - 0.05 is merely a benchmark. I'm fairly disappointed with the results, despite being well tolerated and showing to reduce pain, it seems they haven't produced any overwhelming good news or shown any significant progress in the trial.
That said I am still long to see what happens. I'll average down with this drop, and thankfully I had only entered with 40% of a position (at 1.85) while waiting for a lower price point. Still I firmly believe it should only go up from here, as I can't see any other downside that may occur...
We'll see what happens I guess. Good luck all!

I was thinking of buying this yesterday afternoon but bought some INO instead. I'm glad I held off on JAV though INO is also down today. My luck has been really bad lately with these biotechs. I have a loss in SVNT which was not approved. Heb has been drifting towards 2. CTIC has done nothing. I missed out on AVNR's big pop today. I missed out on ANDS which was up nicely this morning. With these recent disappointments I'm hesitant to jump into Jav here.
This setback puts the company in a likely position to be bought out soon rather than later. Their drug Dyloject (already approved in EU and a $71 million deal already cut for EU territory rights with Therabel Pharma N.V.) is attractive and Rylomine has been put on the backburner due to finances but has positive trial data.
