Hello All, I'm new to this kind of investing. Once the FDA approves this drug in April (or March or May, according to some here), can they start producing & selling it right away or is there some more waiting? The gov't always moves at a snails pace so just wondering if waiting 4 months could turn into longer.

well the FDA delayed their response for CTIC .. does that imply something or no ? But yes if the drug gets approved ,CTIC will do very well.

If i remember when CTIC did their last direct offering they had until the end of the year and maybe into a little bit of the next? Do you guys remember reading something like this? Are some of you waiting for this if it is?

Ctic has an approval date for pixatrone on april 23. I've been watching this stock for a while. Adam Feurstein from thestreet.com hates this stock but personally I like it a lot. I owned shares throughout last summer. I guess Feurstein thought the stock became over-priced and seems to have a grudge againd cell therapeutics, but after all the concerns and sell-offs on FDA approvals I think going into 2010 cell therapeutics looks promising. Hopefully biotech gets back to business early in 2010 and people get more interested in these stocks. I bought Human Genome last april at 1.34 on their hopes for their lupus drug to get approved, the drug was bought up significantly to the decision date, I decided to hold and it payed off. I feel like pixatrone is in that same boat granted the market holds up, cell therapeutics should start moving up after the holidays and if pixatrone gets approved which I truely believe it will (if you do your own research I think you'll agree) the stock has potential to hit double digits. Keep in mind these are just my personal opinions and for sake of saying I currently do not own ctic but will probably buy some in a couple weeks.

I bought CTIC back in mid July or so of this year. Sure, I was looking for a quick gain at that time, but it hasn't worked out yet. I've held on through the decline since, and weathered the "delisting from the NASDAC" hoppla over on the Yahoo Finance board(and all the other fears), but the one thing that has yet to manifest itself is still in the future for this stock. The ramifications of approval by the FDA. Initial stated for April of 2010. Now, to me it appears that that time line may well be moved up to Feb 2010. In the llast week, the company has initiated the "posion pill" against take mover by a single out-side entity (NVS???). Things are really going to heaqt up in the next 2 months! Speculaton is becomeing rampent, both up and down. Personnally, I don't see down anyway for the long term of this stock! So, I'll hang on till **** freezes over before I let go of this one! I'm thinking HGSI, which I bought at $2 and sold the second day of the run at $11. Wish I had held on to it longer--it's at $30 now! Anyhow, good luck to all longs on CTIC! Won't let this go cheap this time! 6String

January 2010 options will be the decisive factor. If the price goes up then for sure the drug will be approved.

If it remains low then probably complete response letter will be issued.

CTIC in my opinion is going to be blockbuster. They were granted an orphan status in Europe. FDA will follow suit. Im loading CTIC
