I think the price is already factored in by the hype. It will take atleast a year for a positive movement.

Sequenom has a valuabel pipeline beyond the noninvasive Downs Syndrome test. Recent results on their test to detect HPV were exceptional, as well as the announcement of the release of a new genetic testing system targeting small and midsize laboratories has contributed along with speculation to the price jump. Relative to the disputed Down Syndrome test Seqeunom is speaking at the National Down Syndrome Conference 8/2, which adds credence to the belief that their data will be verified, and the test available for marketing in the near future.
