    Default Re-entry point for HEB

    Hi!
correct me if i'm wrong, but there seemed to be an institutional selling in amex:HEB
I was in this stock @1.67 earlier this year and could ride a wave to 3.05 (my exitpoint)
what do you suggest would be a good buy-in point since the delay of the FDA date for ampligen is set for this fall...

    greets!

i hold a fairly large pos at average $1.99 It seem to me the support is between $1.65 and $1.80 Personally, I think those are good entry point. That's where i'll be looking to average down. Best of luck to us all.

Where did you hear the FDA has set the date for Ampligen for this Fall? The latest SEC filing by HEB restates they have not recieved any word from the FDA since the FDA told them that they may need 1 to 2 weeks past the May 25th deadline. The Fall date I believe is just a rumor debunked by the comments by HEB in the SEC filing.

Dr. Carter commented on the situation in one of the recent conference calls. When asked when they expect to hear from the FDA, he responded that they expect to hear by this fall. Thats all really. There is no new date or anything.

I must have missed that comment from the CC, I know they were talking a lot about tests on monkeys and ferrits, it was really an odd CC, really no point to it. Anyways, no such information about a Fall date was in the latest SEC filing but just the opposite stating they had her nothing from the FDA so I would not bank on those comments be factual. That said you would think the FDA would give an update at some point but the crazy story of Ampligen goes on.

    ...as I said I'm newbie ;-)
I don't have any linked based data for the update for HEB's ampligen...
its just a rumor I read on different forums.
Anyway I thank you for your advice for a re-entry point (topic) to ride the wave again, if ampligen will OR will not be approved someday

    hello all,
I"m also new. I don't know what it means when some institutions are buying and Dr. Carter ( CEO) is selling.
    Any advice?
    Thanks

    Thumbs down

Personally I would stay away from HEB. Ampligen, while apparently filling a need for CFS patients, has a long and tumultuous history. I still do not believe anyone fully understands the mechanics of Ampligen. Who knows, Ampligen could be the greatest truly working snake oil in the histroy of snake oil. However, I wouldn't hold a position in HEB unless it drops below $1 again. If you're holding now, I'd sell on the next rally and take what profits you can from it.
