Looks like the company has a low float also. Less shares available to buy.

Typically, the shareholder must remain a shareholder until the ex-date or ex-dividend date (which in most cases is two business days before the date of record) to be entitled to receive the dividend. I would recommend checking with the company first for clarification as these are general practices and the company in question may have different terms.
I am curious as to why you would want to purchase a stock just to collect the dividend and then sell it immediately afterward? Funds used to purchase the security could most likely be used to turn a greater profit somewhere else. That being said a $0.15 dividend for a stock that is currently trading at $0.44 is quite odd which brings me to the question of why, but that's for another conversation. I will be watching this one. If it dips enough before the Aug 24th DOR I might even pick up a few thousand shares to make a quick buck.
safakingcool: Nice find and thanks for the heads up!
