Following this stock since January, some of you convinced of a buyout by Warner Chilcott?

Hi fellow investors, here some facts about NEXM. Do your own research also. This is just for advice, and as an opening of NEXMs first thread on favstocks.

The Facts:
NEXM is now actively developing three products, and has it's own drug delivery technology, which is patented, NEXACT.

Vitaros® (Topical ED Treatment) (US right sold to Warner)

Femprox® (Topical FSAD Treatment) (collaboration with Warner)

NM100060 (Topical Onychomycosis Treatment) (was with Novartis, but terminated)


Conclusion 1: why shouldn't Warner buy NEXM, since 2 of the three products are with Warner, Novartis is now out of the way.

Nexmed retained FTN Capital in April:
ECAP,NEXM NexMed Retains FTN Equity Capital Markets

'We are pleased to have retained FTN, a firm which is very familiar with our company, and we look forward to considering the various opportunities available to us, including merger or acquisition transactions.'

Conclusion 2: NEXM will be bought out if the opportunity arises, since they don't have the money to buy another company.


Listen to the CC of May. Investor asks about a potential buyout. CFO gives a an answer, but the CEO interrupts inmediately.

In that same CC the CEO Vivian Liu says the following:
We are actively trying to maximize stockholders value (she has repeated this at least 3 times at that CC. (everyone knows this means, the company is about to be sold)

Overall conlusion:
I think Warner will buy NEXM very soon, because NEXM is running out of money.

I have some more detailed info about NEXM, but have to leave now.

NexMed Submits Compliance Plan to Nasdaq

I was in, got out and got back in in december. Something tells me that Nexmed is going up in the near future. No statitistics or curves, but just my feeling. Didn't do me harm when I had SNSS and sold doubling my money.

Yesterday up 85%! Anyone else in Nexmed? I got in at 0,39 p/pcs.

I'm also in this stock, should be interesting to see what's coming up in a near future.
