I am seriously looking at stock in Mentor Capital. Mentor Capital has a 20% interest in Quantum Immunologics (QI), a private company conducting FDA authorized clinical trials for a new breast cancer treatment called immunotherapy. According to Breast Cancer Investing, the treatment sensitizes dendritic cells in order to expose a protein found only on cancer cells. The treatment is designed to eliminate the need for surgery or chemotherapy with a treatment process that is safer and more targeted towards infected cells. Right now the treatment is best for breast cancer, but with further research, immunotherapy is expected to be useful in treating other forms of cancer. All capital raised through the sale of MNTR.PK stock is expected to be funneled back into the clinical research efforts of QI which makes the investment appealing breast cancer supporters like myself.
