GNBT Generex Biotechnology Corporation - Long

So I recently started to follow up GNBT, a lot of articles out there have this stock going Long. It's trading right now at around 0.55-0.60 .. Thankfully I got in at 0.55, it reached 0.64 last week(yay for pumpers) and dipped back down from people taking profits(good old day traders). its sitting last at 0.58 but theres a lot of good news coming from this company along with the recent finance agreements so they are secured. Can anyone add any more info to this company that has better understanding of it, i only see good things but i am at work and cant find some articles to back my statements up, i will add them once i get home. But if anyone is free and can help me out, I would appreciate it greatly!

On July 30, theres a shareholder's meeting. Among the agenda items up for vote, is to increase the number of shares from 500mil to 750mil outstanding. This WILL surely affect the PPS. Below are the agenda items:


1. To elect five directors;
2. To approve an amendment to our Restated Certificate of Incorporation, as amended, to increase the number of
authorized shares of our common stock from 500,000,000 to 750,000,000;
3. To approve an amendment to the Generex Biotechnology Corporation 2006 Stock Plan and to approve the 2006
Stock Plan, as amended;
4. To authorize the Board of Directors, in the three-month period commencing with the date of the annual meeting, to
issue, without prior stockholder approval, in connection with capital raising transactions up to 50,000,000 shares of
common stock, including options, warrants, securities or other rights convertible into common stock, in the
aggregate, in excess of the number of shares that NASDAQ Listing Rule 5635(d)(2) permits us to issue in such
transactions without prior stockholder approval, the issuance of such 50,000,000 shares to be upon such terms as the
Board of Directors shall deem to be in our best interests, for a price of not less than 70% of the market price at the
time of such issuance and for an aggregate consideration not to exceed $20,000,000, which such authorization shall
include shares of common stock issued by us at or above market price prior to the date of the annual meeting in the
event The NASDAQ Stock Market, Inc. integrates (i) a new below market issuance by us within the three-month
period commencing on the date of the annual meeting with (ii) the prior issuance;
5. To ratify the appointment of MSCM LLP as independent public accountants for the fiscal year ending July 31, 2009;
and
6. To transact such other business as may properly come before the annual meeting and any adjournment or
postponement of the meeting.

I am closly watching GNBT as well. It fell down due to last quarter results. But for the past few weeks, it constantly climbiing to reach its previous reached targets. It is good to do some analysis on this now.

News on both CPEX and GNBT looks promising especially GNBT. However, looking at delay in approval for many including HEB due to FDA staffing issue may delay this one as well.

In spite of run up to .83 on Sept 10, 2009, I think this stock has a lot of potential. Look at the volume on 9/10! Based on historical prices, this should consolidate and decrease in share price until additional news--a good entry is .50 or lower.
