Several days ago, Northern Explorations Ltd. (NXPN.ob or OTCBB: NXPN, NXPN message board), a company that acquires, explores, and developes natural resource properties in North America, executed a definitive agreement with Dominus Energy AG. After that announcement the stock, with a trading volume of 4 million shares, rose by almost 30%. Unfortunately, yesterday the shares lost over 30% of their added value.

It should also be mentioned that insiders of the company have started selling shares as of the end of May. David Naylor , the CFO of Northern Explorations, and Robert McIntosh, a 10% owner of the company, have already disposed of 360,000 shares in total.

According to the latest quarter results, total current assets of the company constitute $5,000. In the meantime, current liabilities exceed $44,000. Besides, the operating loss was $18,000 which is 3 times larger than in the end of September. Last but not least, Northern Explorations is having more expenses: it has paid $7,000 to OTC Advisors, while different firms got $45,000 for the stock promotion earlier.
Let's now consider the overall situation. In total, the company's assets in the bank are $5,000, although $52,000 have already been spent for the promotions of the stock. In addition, insiders have started selling their shares. By now, 360,000 stocks have already been disposed. So what is your impression about all these things happening in Northern Explorations?
