    Default TD Ameritrade Fan

I'm a TD fan. They've got everything you could possibably want or use including a (Live Broker) should you want or need one. Quick and easy phone call get you in touch. Never waited more than 2 min. $9.99 per trade ? Well.......I'll just say I feel I get my moneys worth. Charts, trading tools, tax info. Could go on and on. They pretty much have it all.

    Talking thinkorswim

I have tried Fidelity, E-Trade, and TOS. TOS wins for me hands down. Its easy to trade options and short stocks with.

    Default zecco fan here

i like Zecco since the trades are cheap and I'm not using it for much more than that. I agree there are better platforms and will switch someday. TOS seems to be the favorite of most.

    Default scottrade

I have been very satisfied with scottrade. My biggest problems are the lack of electronic withdrawals back to your account and it would be great if they had an iphone app. They do have a mobile website but an app would work better imo. Has anyone signed up for the checkwriting or ATM card? I did that today and was wondering how well it worked. If that works well then I can get over the lack of electronic withdrawls. Overrall they have great a service. ALSO a bit annoying that some stocks you have to call to trade because they are restricted. I have only ran into that problem once though.

No one mentioned just2trade, this one is great. It's only 2.5 per trade. I have opened an account here and will get back reviews after I make some trades here.

    Default Interactive Brokers

Real mixed feelings about these guys. Their platform is pretty powerful and has a great set of features, but it can be weird and not so intuitive to use. Commissions are great and range of products you can trade is good too, but their customer service sucks. Guess you get what you pay for.

    Default Optionhouse

I use optionhouse...although they do have some weird limitations on placing orders and things like that.

I’ve always been quite interested in adding to my investment holdings and have been on the lookout for good online brokers. My fave is Zecco this is one online brokerages which offers free trades for those who open an account with a minimum of $25,000 or who trade fairly actively. Maintain the $25,000 balance or make 25 trades per month and you’ll get 10 free trades each month.
