i have a question there are certain symbols that are 5 letters and i was wondering what the letters at the end of the symbols mean. i Know the

"Q" means bankrupt but what about the following

"E"

"F"

"Y"

"D"

what do those mean after the 4 letter symbol? a few examples

In response to your query, if these are NASDAQ listed stocks,

E = Delinquent in required filings with the SEC

F = Foreign

Y = ADR

D = New issue of existing stock
