Elliot Wave...
I'm trying to find a site that has this tech tool. I was reading about it and it looks plausible. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.
Ahh yes the Elliott Wave theory that measures investor psychology which is said to be the main driver of the markets
I can try and find some more info to post on this but the basic idea is that every action is followed by a reaction. This is really just Newton's third law, law of motion
Theory also says the market moves in "waves" hence the reason for the name Elliott Wave (I think).
Hey thanks, they seem to think there is 3 large up waves followed by 2 down waves with smaller waves in between. Well at first I thought this was stateing the obvious but can it be used to predict trend patterns? They spent alot of time working on it so smoeone thinks so. Kind of similar to the zig zag retrace found on stock charts.com but with no real prediction value just a retrace % and trend spotter which is helpful combined with other tech tools.

I have never heard of the Elliot Wave theory. The wikipedia page does a great job explaining the base principles behind the theory. Overall a great read for anyone looking to know more about the theory.

Elliott Wave theory is a fairly old concept and works fairly well when combined with other indicators
