Visit a company's website and click on their pipeline link to bring up a list of their drugs and a chart showing what phase the drugs are in.
Also, to see the status of the trials and the details, go to clinicaltrials.gov and enter the name of the drug in the search tool.
I think the best way to do that is to check the stock ticker on google.com/finance and check for the pr's of the previous months going all the way back to like 9-10 months.

Thank you for the info. But under clinicaltrials.com, are you going to register as the participant in order to get the info? I went to the website but they were requesting me to fill up a lot of questionnaire. How do you search to find out companies that are conducting trials?
