The worst stock I ever bought was GVBP, but I was lucky and got out of it just as the **** was hitting the fan (It was a classic pump and dump, got halted by the SEC, all that bad stuff).

The most money I've lost thus far was from CXM. I was an idiot and held on to half my shares after it released it's phase II results which were supposedly positive. It dropped from around $2 to $0.50 in the following two months (dilution didn't help matters either).

GenVec. Never lost so much in one stock in 1 hour.

I wasn't holding too much, but the loss was over 75%.

I was pissed as they mislead so many people.
