    Default Charts and Technicals

Can anyone recommend a good place to start learning how to make sense of charts and technical information. I always see people referring to "Level II, formulas and candlesticks etc... There are a ton of books out there, making it hard for me to pick a "good one" since I dont know what a good one looks like. It should be easy to read and understand. Just starting out and have done well for 7 months, but mostly luck I'm afraid. I would like to make some sense of the numbers/charts.

    Thank you in advance,

    Stonemason

These should be a good place to start.

    General investing info.:
Investors.com - Stocks, Investing, Business, and Finance News
Welcome to Investopedia.com - Your Source for Investing Education

    Chart specific:
Swing Trading Guide | Learn How to Trade Stocks Like a Pro!
    StockCharts.com - ChartSchool - ChartSchool
    Candlesticker by Americanbulls.com - Candlesticks

I would also recomend googling "how to read financial documents" or something of the like so you can read a balance sheet, cash flow statement etc.

Who is your broker? i for example use Scottrade. They have this section on their site called Knowledge Center, where you can look up investing terms. I also use investopedia.com. Great source.
