Actually, If you're thinking about CTIC, you may want to check it out before 2010. At least one Approval may come before then.

I have started buying SPNG, though price dropped a lot after I had bought this shares. But I believe this stock has good potential in future.

CTIC is also in my wallet, with a note saying "approval from fda q4 2009".
so right now I think there is no real hurry to get in, just make sure you do

some other note:
CTI requested priority review for pixantrone to treat relapsed or refractory, aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL- a certain cancer), which if granted could lead to an approval decision from the FDA in the fourth quarter of 2009. Pixantrone is currently available in Europe on a named-patient basis.
"...a patient population which the FDA has acknowledged represents an unmet medical need."

What a long list. I like CTIC and I think this is a good stock.

For the rest of the year I would suggest metals. I am in PCU, IAU, GFI. I am also short the dollar, UDN, and if you are betting the world economy will turn before the US, try some shippers, NAT, PRGN and TNK all have good balance sheets. There are a lot of them out there, many good ones. In biotech land, I own AGEN. I also own INTC and LVLT. Low cost basis on all of these. I am also short the market. DXD, SDS, TZA etc. Good luck to all.
